Celtic have signed Guinea international defender Bobo Balde from Toulouse for a reported £900,000 after a lengthy pursuit. The 25-year-old, capped 52 times, joins to strengthen Martin O’Neill’s back line for domestic and European campaigns. Toulouse’s financial problems helped unlock the deal. Balde is expected to be available for upcoming fixtures once final registration steps are completed.
